Poor College Student Looking for Great Places to Shop

Like many of you, I am a poor college student going to visit japan. I am looking for great places to shop where I can get the most for my money. As long as I can get there by subway I am ready and willing. Looking to hopefully save on shipping. Please help me! I leave in a week!

Thanks so much for all the help.

District-wise, Daikanyama, Shimo-Kitazawa and Koenji would be the best. That is if you don't mind going where other foreign tourists are not going.

There are a few cheap places in Harajuku, too, such as Hanjiro Central, Chicago, Santa Monica, etc.

The Per Gram Market in Naka-Meguro is also cool.
