Oshare Kei questions - 04-21-2007, 10:26 PM

Hey there. I'm a big music buff (yes, I know this is the fashion board, you'll see where this is going), and I've been listening to a few Japanese bands for the last few years. I decided to do some research on Japanese music culture, and I stumbled upon Oshare Kei, and I discovered I listen to a few bands in that vein, and the fashion style also interests me.

However, 3 hours of google searching later, I've only come up with Lokisa, and most of the clothing seems to be geared towards females -- I've been unsuccessful in finding clothing for men in Oshare kei. Does anybody know where I could learn more? Also, Oshare kei is not the only visual style I'm concerned about, but it does interest me the most. Thank you!

Try AsiaJam, AllthingsKawaii and Ebay. Tbh I'm a guy and finding that stuff for guys is nigh impossible, you're better off either:

A) Wearing female clothes
B) Making your own
C) Trying to create the look using guys clothes
D) Give up.

I'd like to oder from a coupple sites, but it becomes very expensive with the shipping and taxes, so I create my style from regular clothes and mix them together (I aslo sew some of my clothes, nut that's not much because I'm not very good at it XD )

I try to run away, forget it all…
The years pass, but pain remains.
These memories are like a thorn
Embedded deep in my heart…
It’s draining me drop by drop.
I can’t stop thinking about the past
The pain is too great, to just let it pass..
