I can't style my hair as much as I want. Blonde hair is too thin.

first off you need to thin your hair out a bit,

basicly its thick roots holding it up and thing tips to get the style you want.

thats basics of asian hair

wax can get too greasy

Gel will make it too shiney and clumpy, thats more for spiked look.

pomade leaves your hair limp

best is to use Fiber Gum.

but you have to properly know how to style hair and how to properly use fiber gum.

a quarter size dab in your hand and you clap your hands 2gether until you get nice lil strands of it,

work it in nice to your roots, avoid gettin the tips as much as possible.

once its in your roots you can start from the back left to right and all the way to the front.

have a nice foundation for the hair so it doesnt go limp and it takes less effort to style and mold the tips.

the dry messy look comes from the tip.

so once you got the foundation down, do the same thing with the fiber gum but use less and clump the tips 2gether.

blow dry

and you should have a good stiff foundation with spikey points.

now get a thick comb and brush it once thru the individual spikes you made.

this breaks it up a bit

after that you start from the middle of the hair length and twist up

Fiber gum is very versatile, it wont leave you white dandruff looking spots on your head.

I use Fructis Fiber gum, like 5-8 bucks.

so there you have it.

a messy dry look.

if your hair is too thick, (* if you have white people hair*) then go to a salon and tell them you want the mid to the tip thinned out.

im really good at styling asian hair styles.

its all about feeling out the texture of the hair and how it reacts to products.

Dont expect to get the perfect dry look on your first try.

i can nail it when im doin my own hair, but when friends ask for me to recreate Jrock style and other asian hair styles, it takes me a few tries.

i just test out products on certain sections, then when i find the one that works, they jus wash dry and we start from the beginnng.

also its good to use a non luminant or shine hair spray to lightly hold the hair up.

if you are really good at hair, then you can use a Thinning comb.. if not i recommend get a professional to do it.

Thinning combs can be very unforgiving.
