Japanese cosplay in Viet Nam

Japanese cosplay culture has a large affect on many Vietnamese youngth. Young Hanoians have adopted the cosplay hobby, imitating their favourite characters from Japanese manga and anime in preparation for an upcoming contest.

The Hanoi Carnival will be held at the Indochina Plaza Hanoi from 2pm on March 25-26/2014. Besides music and dance and cultural exchanges, there will be a cosplay contest.

Since early August, beautiful cosplay costumes have been published on the event’s website.

The event will also host shopping booths, food court area and popular modern games to play.
