Best Japanese Shampoo? - 10-29-2011, 03:29 PM

I just started using Shiseido Tsubaki. I've searched the internet for the best shampoo for Japanese hair and Tsubaki usually showed up. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Can't remember the company name, but charcoal shampoo is pretty good! you can find it on jbox.com

Japanese hair isn't uniform - there is no "best" shampoo for Japanese hair. There are good shampoos, but no single best.

Tsubaki has a great ad campaign going on, saying that they are the best for Japanese hair... Then Asience came out with a copy of their ad copy - designed for Asian hair, etc.

The only real difference is the ad campaigns. Any Japanese brand is designed for Japanese hair.

What type of hair do you have? That is what will make the real difference in what shampoo is best for you.

If anyone is trying to find me… Tamyuun on Instagram is probably the easiest.

My hair is pretty thick and always feels too dry after I shampoo. I shampoo every 2 or 3 days. I want it to feel softer. Maybe my hair is just weird.

Supermild irritated my husband's scalp until he developed dandruff, gave me a rash, and made my son's hair weirdly dry.

It is on our "do not buy, no matter what" list.
