I'll just put it out there that I have NEVER heard of Japanese people eating horse penis or seen it at a Japanese butcher shop. I hope the OP can put up a little evidence of that.

I've always wanted to try horse I've heard it's not too bad, but last time I've checked no places around here have horse meat. If I tried to ask for it I would be chased out of a store since it seems like Americans are against eating horse.

I don't know about horses penis....but a bull's penis I've heard has aphrodisaiac......I think I spelt that wrong......but it's supposed to be like viagra ..^_^..

I like horse my friends mom use to cook it when it turned winter around new mexico (he's full blooded Navajo) she always said it was suppose to keep you healthy through the winter time

we never got sick so guess it worked.

Fear factor is a lame tv show no one eats food like that, usually its served like a hamburger nothing taboo

If I knew that it was horse, I couldn't bring myself to eat it. Perhaps because I'm around horses a lot and I owned a horse who was my best friend, it seems wrong to me...like cooking and eating your dog.

Only in certain places. They sell it, and it's not illegal so long's it's marked "horse", not beef or something. you just have to look harder

I've never eaten horse......sounds interesting. If I had a chance I would. I bet it would taste awesome with a little bit of soy sauce. Yes, I agree with Hyakushi, except for the fact that people are humans. I would never even think of becomming a cannibal, sorry.
