How do you eat yor sushi?

Some people use chopsticks. Some use their hands. Either is OK in Japan....

I always use my fingers to eat Temakizushi at home but except when I eat sushi,I use chopsticks

I love eating it with my fingers for some reason. A fork just doesn't cut it, and I can't use chopsticks. It's more enjoyable, I find.

I rememeber most japanese people used chopsticks.
And me too^^
But my husband uses his fingers. I don't like his way.

I use chopsticks, and not only for sushi...I was taught to eat with chopstikes while I was a child cuz my nation (Uighurs) use them...I really didn't want to be taught and wanted to use a fork everytime LOL. But now I am glad that my parents have made me eat with them^^.

I had no idea it was okay to use your hands in Japan to eat sushi with.

I always imagined using nothing but chopsticks, so that is what I use as well.

Oh yeah, for sushi it's fine. Not sashimi, though.

I try to eat most sushi with chopsticks (like with this Tiger roll at the I Love Teriyaki restaurant in the East Bay). but I agree with MMM with sashimi...damn now i'm hungry

I don't eat sushi
But when I did I stabbed it a few times, looked at it funny and picked up a piece with chopsticks and then decided I didn't want to die young.
I have seafood phobia :/
