Can Someone Tell Me What...

I was just curious what some of the foods you see in Anime are.
e.g. spirited away.
any help would be great.

Maybe you could name some you are interested in? Since i think you will find at least a dozen of animes where they mention/talk about every single one of the Japanese dishes.

Well Naruto is a staple in food :P
Udon Ramen with extra pork and I think I saw Bento in Bleach before?

In one part haku gives chihiro onigiri, though it looks plain b/c I didn't see any filling!

The part where the parents eat and turn into pigs features some really odd looking food, I think they mention that they don't even know what kind of food it is.

There's also the part where they visit that old, nice witch. She gives them tea and cake... it kinda looks like cheesecake but I dunno

Hmm, i was wondering what that big round thing that the dad gobbles down whole, when they find that food. it kinda looked like a huge mutant onion, or a big sack made out of noodles.

How exactly does Naruto taste like? (The fish sausage...>.>)
Just like fish or something else? Also how is it made? I mean...it's white and red...I don't think fish is that color :p

The food in that movie is largely a mystery to me too. Some of it is actual food, but the majority seems to be straight out of fantasy.
