Question Beginner Cook - 11-07-2008, 02:09 AM

Hey. I'm an American and my friend got me into the Japanese culture. I really love to cook and I love the way the Japanese food looks in the manga magazines my friend gets but the first time I tried to make Japanese food it turned out really bad, mostly because I picked a meal that took me six hours to make. I was just wondering what some people's favorite foods were and what were some easy food to make that I could try to create myself.

Only your back i can see
and my heart is beating like crazy
even though you don't see me
is there a way that you'll notice me?
I don't even have courage
but i'll try to change
but even so,
there's still a road that we can't cross
the difference of us is not just low
After all, i'm just an ordinary girl
just longing for a man
who could never ever be mine.

Always thought onigiri was easier...? I mean, just steam some rice, add filling, and vuala, onigiri. Or just eat it with rice.

ya probably just look up easy things to make on websites although a lot of Asian food you need a lot of ingredients so if you want to make it you will be shopping for a lot of things but i guess it all depends on what you wanna make
