How do Japanese condiment a seaweeds salad?

When I go to a Japanese restaurant and order a seaweeds salad, I always come up with the same question. What kind of sauce did they use with the seaweeds salad?

Since I am vegetarian, I would rather not use condiments or sauces with fish based ingredients.

So, any alternatives?

I believe it's just a basic Japanese vinaigrette. For the simplest of dressings, I'll use a 1:1:1 combination of white vinegar, soy sauce and sesame oil.

Here's a simple recipe which uses sugar as well :

it must be 100% or close to vegan food

Uusually, dressing for seaweed salad is shiso dressing.
Dressing is made from Shiso, Soy sauce, vinegar、and sugar.

Here is basic information of Shiso from wikipedia

I think some contain katsuo bushi(dried fish).

Siso dressing has same colour as soy sauce, so it won't be difficult to identify.

However, I am not sure about outside of Japan.
Here in Vancouver, restaurants use different dressings.
