What is this food? - 02-01-2009, 06:06 PM

My sister and I have been wondering what this is for a while.
What is this food thing that L is eating?

Does anyone know? I thought it was some sort of green tea something...

I think it might be Uiro. Nagoyankee or Nyororin will be able to confirm.

I am not a fan, but it's worth a try.

Uiro that big and in that color would be pretty ... daunting. It`s usually eaten in little pieces. That big of a chunk would be HEAVY - hard to hold that lightly. I really really doubt it`s uiro, unless they`re trying to make him look like an over-the-top Nagoyan.

To me - it looks like one of those cheap stick cakes that they have in supermarkets. Usually 4 or 5 to a bag for 200 yen or about. They`re sweet, cheap, and sometimes even have cream in them.

If anyone is trying to find me… Tamyuun on Instagram is probably the easiest.
