I think it's quite normal. I am from a seaside city named Shantou, China. There people depend on fresh seafood everyday. But I know some ccolleagues hate fish or even all seafood. One of them has not eaten any fish for almost 45 years. That is quite interesting and unbelievable.

ChrystalDoll's remark reminded me that despite fish being my favorite source of protein there was most of a year that I avoided anything other than fried shrimp. I was taking a marine biology course and just could not face eating what I might have worked with earlier in the day.

I agree with Columbine.

I'm Japanese-American(If that may count for anything) and I don't like a lot of seafood oriented food. It's just gross.
