Japanese food is delicious and so eye-pleasing. It also hold many secrets, such as the preparation of Fugu :

My favorite is tenpura. One egg, a cup of flour and a cup of icy cold water and you've got the batter. Its so easy to make, though it makes a lot of smoke, and if you don't have a deep pan for the oil, you end up with little flecks of hot oil and pain from turning the food over.

But it is so worth it. Terrible food for you, all grease, but very very very yummy. I love using carrots and peppers best.

I also love making udon soups, because you can pretty much throw anything soup-like in there, add some soyu and dashi stock and you have a very good meal.

i always thought it was poisonous but wow i never knew that you can actually eat it.. i gotta try it one day:D.... my favorite japanese food is chicken teriyaki.. lol i go crazy for it:).. i love the taste of it.. it's so much better than any other chicken out there:)

It IS highly poisonous. Fugu has glands that if punctured will release poison powerful enough to kill 10 men :eek: The chef must avoid these glands, but the rest is comestible.

Fugu chefs must place the remains into a locked armored box to be returned to Japanese health authorities. Fugu poison is a very potent weapon.

ah ok cool thanks for the info:) so after all the glands are removed you can eat it right?..
