just as the title says, what are some simple Japanese (or any asian) recipe that youve made (that you can find from an asian store if you are in US like me ) and what was your thoughts (or your tastes) on it XD

so far ive made mochi with a few diff fillings (i still like organic peanut butter in it) I do enjoy its taste, especialy with some white sauce mmmmm :3

took me forever to sorta get the dango right >3> every batch mocked me, but again the taste was good, especialy the mitarashi XD

I can easily make stirfry of various flavors, i seem to be blessed by the stirfry god :P

ive only made eggdrop soup once.....still yummy, but cant seem to master it XD

so what about everyone else?

Onigiri is very easy to make. Just mix rice with your choice of fukikake and wrap it up with nori. It's easy and tasty. It's perfect for taking on a trip. I usually grab a couple when I am in Japan because they are easy to carry and some of them can be very yummy.

I love sunny day

Just boil soybeans in the pod with salt for 5 or 6 minutes.

I love it!
