I'm Japanese and I love eating, but I've never heard of a "Japanese mashed potato salad". Are you really sure it's Japanese?

Really? I thought it is pretty common. Hee hee. Maybe it's not authentic Japanese food, I dunno. But it's sold in some local Sushi bars where it's wrapped in sweet toufu skin (inari).

LOL That's so wild. In Japan, we only put rice (vinegared rice) inside the tofu skin to make inari, never potato salad. But I guess anything goes.
