I can't see the japanese characters so can someone please tell me how to get them to show up. I have the really old windows 98. X3. I'm also using firefox. f anyone could please help me. Domo Arigato!!

Hrm... Win98, eh?

You should be able to go into the control panel and find anything that looks like language or regional settings and tell it to install japanese language packs... But, since it's win98, you may have to actually go to a website somewhere and download a Japanese font.

I think that if u have an ofice 2000 or newer that u have the option of instaling the founts, on my previous instalation i had no problem at all with it.
This time i formated my pc and i couldnt see japanese on my firefox, so i went to mozila and added a jpl kit and i can see it perfectly.
