Berlitz course? - 02-16-2008, 02:11 AM

Hey, Just wanted to know from anyone who has either taken a Berlitz course or knows anything about them. How much does it cost and is it any good or not? If it really isn't, could you recommend something thats better than them? Thank you^^

Never heard of them, but they look reliable. If you're wanting to learn abroad with them, maybe try BridgeAbroad.com. I'm already signed up to go to Japan on the 31st of March, and so far they've been great. Great customer service and such. Berlitz seems to me to be a great local option, though!

I have never actually taken any of their courses, nor do I have any personal experience with them....

However, I do know that they`re one of the few reliable language schools in Japan - They supposedly actually require their teachers to go through some sort of certification.
As for how good their Japanese courses are, well, I`d say they`re at least a safe bet to try.

I have read one of their publications/books on Japanese. It can be pretty useful for beginners I would say!
