Kanji Translation - 04-03-2008, 07:35 PM

The attched file contains a picture of a phrase written in Kanji that I am considering having done as a tattoo. I would like to have it translated into English before I do this. Can anyone help me?

Kanji tattoo - 04-03-2008, 08:20 PM

Thanks, MMM! Ok, that's two people who say the same thing. It just makes me nervous since this is something that will be inked on my body for all eternity. I greatly appreciate your help!

Quality Print?? - 04-03-2008, 08:22 PM

One more thing....where can I get a quality print of this so I can get the tattoo done correctly? The pic I have is not so clear as you can see and I want to be sure there are no mistakes on the finished tattoo.

While i don't agree at all with people getting chinese/japanese tattoos when they don't know the language themselves i would rather you got the characters correct. just make sure you learn japanese so you don't seem like a total tool with this tattoo.

copy and paste this and then you can print it out:
己に忠実なれ

Anrakushi,

As you can see, the characters you posted didn't come out. Is it a setting on my computer or can you resend them? Thanks.
