Is their such a word or character for "Journeyman" in Japanese?

Im thinking of getting it tattooed on me since I am a Journeyman Butcher but I cant find anything so far..

Well, 'tabi' means journey and 'otokonohito' means man. Is that good enough?

That wouldn't mean anything at all in Japanese. At least not the same way as in English.

"Journeyman" might be a little tough. You could try searching Jim Breen's dictionary with the term 'apprentice' (since a journeyman is one who has completed an apprenticeship) and see what you come up with. However, I think a lot of the results would be obscure/archaic words.

That completely misses the meaning of journeyman.

On a side note, I knew someone who had tabibito tattooed on them... They wanted "traveller".
