question about meaning of a word

I was watching the extras for The Grudge 2, and one of the actresses says that sukoshi sukoshi means more...

But I have no clue about that. I only know sukoshi means a little, takusan means alot, and that motto means more.

Can anyone tell me if this actress is right, or wrong?

As a native speaker of Japanese, I wouldn't label that as a mistake until I've heard what was actually said. It would depend on what context the word 'sukoshi' was used in. It can mean 'more' at times.

For example: 'mou sukoshi' or 'ato sukoshi' = some more

A film is made by a large group of people. They would usually catch obvious mistakes at a very early stage.

Yes, I, too was wondering the context of the statement, as she could be right.

Like all actors on foreign sets, she doesn't learn the native language, just what she needs to know.
