学校 (がっこう) = School

登校 (とうこう) = Going to school (in the morning)

下校 (げこう) = Going home from school

転校 (てんこう) = Transfering to another school

It could sometimes but the problem is that the word お酒 can mean any type of liqour. So you will hear the word 日本酒 quite often.
