Help with Japanese proverb

"Vision without action is a daydream; action without vision is a nightmare"
Japanese Proverb

Does anyone know background on it?
The Japanese phrase it is derived from?
With pronunciation please.

Thank you,
Donald

実行力なき洞察力は白日夢である。洞察力なき実行力は 悪夢である。
jikkouryoku naki dousatsuryoku wa hajitsumu de aru. dousatsuryoku naki jikkouryoku wa akumu de aru.

but this is not a proverb.
proverbs with similar meaning are:

机上の空論
絵に描いた餅
畳の上の水練
言行不一致
言うは易く行うは難し

Great thank you.

Any idea what it may be derived from?

Could you give me the translation, meaning, and pronunciation on the others?

机上の空論 kijyou no kuuron = an armchair [impraticable] theory
絵に描いた餅 e ni kaita mochi = it's a pie in the sky
畳の上の水練 tatami no ue no suiren = pratice swimming on the tatami
言行不一致 genkou fuicchi = incoherence between what you say and what you do
言うは易く行うは難し iu wa yasuku okonau wa katashi = easy to say, difficult to do

but there are lot of similar proverbs:
for exemple....

口では大阪の城も建つ kuchi dewa Oosaka no shiro mo tatsu = you can build Osaka castle by words
鞍掛け馬の稽古 kurakake uma no keiko = pratice horse-riding on a wooden horse

I like this one.

Do you think "実行力なき洞察力は白日夢である。洞察力なき実行力 悪夢である" Resonates the same way it does in english or does it loose something.

Would it be wise to address a small Japanese audience who work for me using this phrase. I would start out a speech with it and then continue in English.
The phrase really resonates with my philosophies, I wanted to use it to break the ice.

Thanks for your help.
