That's correct desu. You can also read 家で as 'ie de'. Make sure you're reading インターネット as 'intaanetto' as well.

I have a question about comparisons, which I was studying recently. I was wondering about the use of 方 (hou) and より (yori). Can you use those for as-as comparisons as well? (ex-she is as good as Haruka.) I believe there is a different construction...could anyone help me out?

That is a good question and the answer is no. You cannot use either 方or より in that sentence.

She is as good as Haruka. = 彼女はハルカと同じくらい良い。 同じ = おなじ

More formerly, 彼女はハルカと同等に良い。 同等 = どうとう

Hi, I'm to JF.

I was wondering if someone could help me with a translation? I want to know how to say:

"Do you think you're cool?"
"I'll beat you." or "Defeat you."

Basically, some trash talk. haha Also, I understand profanity is not looked upon as good, but I was wondering if there's a post somewhere for just curse words.

correct me whenever you need.

Domo Sumimasen

(that means thanks right? or should it be arigatou?)
Do you think you're cool?
涼しいようにと思っているんですか?

You think you're slick, don't you?
滑りやすいと思っているんをやらないといけないんです か?

How would say this or is this too literal? Are they any euphemisms I could learn in Japanese?
