That's true, but I'd like to write both just to be safe,
and also it means I'll be able to find where my friend is living by using google maps as you can't search in romaji. Thanks though, you've given me a bit more confidence in the postal system! ^_^ |

In Japan, the address is written from wide area to small area. Thus, that will be 790-0055 日本 愛媛県松山市針田町#-## And you can get the japanese address from postal code with IME if you are running windows.(I don't have the English version Windows. This may not be exact.) Select [Microsoft Natural Input Properties] Dialog Box - [Dictionary] Tab Check 'Microsoft IME 郵便番号辞書(Postal Code Dictionary)' then push OK. or Change Convert Mode 般(一般) to 人(人名/地名) on IME toolbar every time you want to input the address. Then, you can convert the postal code to the japanese address with IME. |

hi all
I dont speak any japanese at all so im completly lost by all the higrana and kanji on the page but i am going for a tattoo at the start of next month and i thought it would look better in japanese rather than plain old english, i've done some research but im terrified i've got it wrong and having some random thing tattoo'd on my arm in japanese The quote im hoping someone would help me with is : I'm glad i found true friends p.s like i said i dont know the language but i think (from what i've seen) that higrana is "prettier" is it possible to have the whole sentence in higrana or do i need kanji in there too? I'm completly lost!! right off the map actually , but i hope someone can understand what i'm meaning!! thank you in advance |

I think it would be better in Kanji but if you want hiragaina うれしいほんとうのともだちみつけた Honestly the Kanji looks better (or so I think) and you can fit it in pretty much an where with Kaniji. you need more space with hiragana now did you want it horizontally or veridically because I can give you vertical too. (if you need it in a smaller space.) "To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering, one must not love. But then, one suffers from not loving. Therefore, to love is to suffer." |
