Can anyone tell me what my name means in Japanese?

My Name is Tori Lampert. Can anyone tell me what my name means?

MMM 10-09-2008 09:26 PM

It doesn't mean anything in Japanese.

Suki 10-09-2008 09:30 PM

What's the origin of your name? And why do people assume their names must mean something in Japanese? Only some Japanese names have an actual meaning, but Tori Lampert doesn't seem Japanese to me. At all.

you should try like this..
first find your Latin name and then of that name try find your japanese..
like my name is Silvija and means Nature so what is nature in japanese?
自然 is this right? :p

She is asking what her name means in Japanese.

So if you name means Nature in Latin, it means Nature in English and means Nature in Japanese.

yep

the only thing non-japanese names can be is katakana, which has no "meaning" and is entirely phonetic.
