Just so you know, this is the kind of job a professional translator would charge money for. One of our resident native speakers may decide to be very nice to you, but I wouldn't hold your breath; if it's that urgent, contact a translation service.

Sure. It'll be $150.00 ($0.12 per character at 1250 characters). PM me if you want it done right.

Is that seriously how translation rates are for Japanese?
What about European languages, how does that work?

The rates are probably the same. A good translator will be basically fluent in both languages involved, so mental labor isn't much of a factor.

Yeah, I'm just saying though, would I charge
12 cents a letter translating something into German?
Haha

Price per character is a little different than price per letter.

2 Japanese characters work out to about 1 English word, so it's about 24 cents a word, depending...

This wonderful myspace translated this on their blog. It's from miyavi's diary. You should bookmark this person's myspace or add them because they always translate MYV's diary entries and news and such. They're amazing!

Frankly, it's insulting that people think we're going to translate Mivayi's diary for them.

Yeah, Keaton421. I've only been a member here for maybe a couple weeks or a month, and I'm already bitching about "translate my tattoo" and "translate this blog for me" entries!

Of course, I did put in my dues at hanzismatter for a few years.
