I heard the Japanese word: MIKATO

can someone tell me what this word means in japanese

Sorry, but that's not a real word. Perhaps you heard wrong?

Definitely need some context.

Could be "Mikado" misheard? It's one way to say "the Emperor".

well i heard it on tv its the name of a Japanese resturant here in my town Panama city beach,FL
MIKATO is the exact spelling they said it means red gate or something like that.
but still very vague

Yeah, I was gonna say, I only know the Mikato restaurant in Huntsville, AL. Just a nonsense word that sounds vaguely Japanese

Shogun They give them the best names, then they call them "Japanese Steakhouse." Last time I checked Japanese didn't eat a lot of steak...

Springville's just this sad little town where my Grandma lives Bout an hour out of B-ham (and maybe 20 from Trussville if you know that either)
