Here are some sites relating to Remembering the Kanji, by James W. Heisig.

Remembering the Kanji

Free ebook (first 276 frames)

Reviewing the Kanji

The third link cuts massive amounts of hassle out this method, as the site automatically creates and organizes your flashcards for you, and then it filters your cards through the Leitner flashcard system.

I should mention right here and now, this method will not teach you the ON yomi or the KUN yomi, it doesn't claim to, it's for remembering meaning and writing only.

Please, if you have any questions about this book, feel free to PM me.

Here are some links to sites that cover mnemonic methods for learning the readings of kanji. To be honest, I don't personally use these methods, I prefer to learn readings in context, but everyone learns differently.

Heres a List and readings of The Top Two Thousand Kanji

Top 2000 Kanji

It would come In handy more for learning to write and read then trying to find the Kanji

This one is to search for Kanji by direct input or stroke count number

What do you mean exactly by normal letters? do you mean from Kanji to Hiragana? or from Hiragana to Romaji?

The links at the start of this thread by Samokan will translate Kanji into English, and give you the Hirgana reading for each word aswell.
