two things here! - 03-21-2009, 04:19 PM

Ok, first off, I've decided to learn Japanese by AJATT. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what I could listen to? (in Japanese of course) I think I should be fine as far as music and I'm also getting anime to watch in Japanese. But I was wondering if there was some kind of audio book I could get that was mostly dialogue or maybe like a track that is just two people speaking to eachother in Japanese. Well, I think get what I'm talking about so if you have any suggestions please post them.

Also, could someone send me a link to an accurate Katakana chart? I would google it myself but the last time I googled for Japanese stuff it was all wrong :\

Oh and one more thing I forgot, how do I change my display language in Windows Vista?? I've been trying forever and I can't get anything to work :@

Gahd.

There was this audio cd set that you could torrent for free that had like 30 hours of nothing but grammar.

It was an american man who said the English word, then a Japanese woman would say the word in Japanese. But I haven't used it in a while, and I can't remember the name. If I think of it I'll let you know asap. Maybe you could try and seach for it too.

A good site for audio is Japanese Pod 101. They used to be for free download, but I'm pretty sure things have changed around now. Worth a look though. They have a Japanese speaker and an English speaker and they just translate between the two and explain sentence structure and stuff.

Oh and Kana charts:

Hiragana and Katakana Practice - Real Kana

[It allows you to practice them aswell, but you can just reference them as normal on there.]

No idea about Vista, I have XP.
