Reading

Ok, so I've been looking for something to start reading, though I don't know of anything to read. I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions of a book that I, a beginner, could start reading?

Also, I'm trying to enter a sentence into Anki(question side) and everytime I type in the sentence the card turns pink? What does that mean??

Ok, I figured out what was wrong with Anki but still looking for the reading material.

My first book was "まんが日本昔ばなし、妖しのお話" (I know it says manga in the title, but it is not what you think when you read manga). I found it in double language, one side Japanese and one side English, even tho the English part doesn't help much because it was written much more "expanded" compared to the original. The kanji are pretty easy and writte with ふり仮名.

Does anyone else have any suggestions/recommendations?

No one else has any suggestions? Any manga that would be good for a beginner? I was considering Air Gear, but I have no idea

It seems like I have to remind people of this rule almost every day.

That's cause you probably do xD Sorry about that, didn't think that would be considered illegal
