Anime translators needed! - 04-11-2009, 10:34 AM

Hello all : D
I work for an anime translation group called ACSF(animecrazy sub force)
anyways, we don't have many translators for some of our projects and we are in desperate need of them. We would appreciate any help!
Some projects we do:
One Piece
Major(need translators)
Death note movie Rewrite 2

what do you mean? Anime is not in English...
It's in Japanese
Like one piece for example, it's spoken in Japanese and what the translator does is translate it in notepad. Then we do all the other stuff, and release it first...

Aren't Death Note and One Piece already in English? At the very least, One Piece has been licensed, and it is usually a fansubber ethics violation to keep subbing something that has been licensed, no? I mean, technically what you're doing is illegal (at least in the US). It's just always been the unspoken agreement between the Japanese companies and fansubbers that the Japanese companies won't stop fansubbers so long as fansubbers stop once the show has been licensed in the US (or another country).
