my g/friend says this

結婚物

My g/friend is asking me to further our relationship. She is a Japanese and "結婚物" is what I heard she mentioned in a phone talk with her yesterday. She explained me that it was dresses, suits, cakes, parties etc.
What is it called in English ? :D

I am from Armenia by the way.

I've never heard of that word before... though the first two kanji mean marriage.

But I'm suspicious... how are you able to write the kanji yet you claim you heard her say this word.

I mean if you heard her say it but claim not to know what it means.. I don't understand how you can write it.

物 there would be working in the same way that it does when tacked onto any other noun or masu stem verb:

something associated or used in connection with first word.(買い・物 着・物)
If 結婚物 has a direct translation into English, I'm not aware of it.
