Address Translation - 11-19-2009, 06:00 AM

hi guys
i'm writing a letter to my host sister but i'm having trouble translating her name and address in Kanji so i can put on the envelope. can somebody please help me?

her name is

Yukari Abe

and her address is:

2-17-7 Shinkoji, Machida-city, Tokyo, Japan
〒195-0057

and also what order am i supposed to but the address in?
am i supposed to but it all in Kanji or is it ok if i but it in hiragana?

Just write it like that. It will get there.

i agree. usually if you send a letter by mail, you're more required to write the title address in english. even foreigners consider putting it in english..

Machida? You're not about to attend Obirin University, are you?

When I mail letters to Japan, I do it in this fashion (I don't trust the US post office with envelopes written in Japanese):
