I second this. And MotorSport, for what it's worth, if you have Windows XP or above, you can draw what you see on the screen with a mouse and it will turn it into Japanese kanji for you. Then you can paste it into any number of sites (Wikipedia being the obvious one) and find out the name in English.

Kyle, do you know what that function is called? It's the little pop-up sketch box right? I'm positive it's also on my Mac version of MS but I can't seem to locate it yet.

Like sashimister said, IME Pad. And I've never heard of an "MS" version of a Mac.

Thanks, that's word I was after. I meant you can have a mac that can also run Microsoft office and if you really muck about with it, you can also make it run a version MS windows.

Gotcha. Yeah, I have Office 2008 for OS X, but it doesn't have the IME Pad. I also have Windows installed onto my MacBook Pro for emergencies, and it does have the IME Pad (because it is Windows).
