I believe that having your name in kanji is fun and interesting to you.
I want you to enjoy Japanese language, and as a result, be interested in Japan.
I’m sure that if you have your name with kanji, you would feel familiarity with Japan.

This all seem quite interesting even though I can't read some of it. However I would love to see how my name would look like in Kanji and how to pronounce it if that would be possible. This is why I don't like these threads. Who knows what your name would look like in kanji? That's a decision parents make for their children. Even if you "chose" kanji for your name, the chances that most Japanese would look at it and pronounce it the way you intend is questionable at best.

Giving people a kanji name to get them interested in Japan is like giving a child a gold star for finishing her veggies. Maybe it makes her feel good for a minute, but it is ultimately a meaningless gesture.

What it looks like? There isn't ANY kanji that are for foreign names. Even if you have pronunciation that fits in Japanese, there could be hundreds of ways to write it.
