Can anyone translate this and tell me who the artist is? Please. - 06-26-2010, 10:42 PM

Any help is appreciated. I'd love to know who this artist is. Thank you so much! If you need more pictures I can email them to you upon request.

Hi.
I can read the first line.
花好月圓人寿
This means beautiful flowers, the full moon and a long living person.
I don’t know or read the artist name. Sorry!

Hello, I may not understand English very well and I may lack words but I will try to understand you.

If you have questions about my post or Japanese customs, don't hesitate to ask.

I YamaP

Assuming that on the right is the name, it is 山文.

I honestly have never heard that name, and doubt it is one. However, were it a name, it would mean "Mountain Verse" or something like that.

But you don't translate names.

Like if someone demands an explanation of what "Robin" means. You'll say "it's my name," not "it's a type of bird with a red breast."
