Help with translating message

Hello. I have been trying to learn japanese for the past 3 years. At any rate, I've been trying to translate this message for a friend of mine, to no avail.

So I turn to you, please help me with translating this image!! I would be really grateful.

Is that really how you'd translate 受け取る there? I was confused because the only meanings I know of are of the collect/receive/accept/take/get variety.

受け取る - Words - Tangorin.com Japanese Dictionary

On tangorin, they give a second definition of 受け取る "to take; to interpret; to understand". But I'm not sure, seems to work in this context though.

My Japanese is crap, so you may be right

It's second definition of 受け取る was;
２ 人の言葉や行動などを自分なりの判断で解釈する。また 、納得する。「話を額面どおりに―・る」「善意に―・ る」
"Interpret" as in interpreting the words and actions of *people* :/ I'm not so sure I was right now... Oh well.
There was an error of some kind with the launcher, that's good enough! :P

I don't think Interpret is the right word. I think "Launcher failed" might be closer.

One meaning of 受け取る is indeed "to interpret". However, for it to mean that, the object of the verb must be words, in other words, information, not something tangible as a launcher.
