What was the poster of? Was it a movie poster? Why do you have doubts of it being Japanese or Chinese?

Unlike writing a foreign name, Kanji are not phonetic representations, like the alphabet, and can be pronounced different ways depending on the situation.

KyleGoetz read the first two correctly and I assure you it isn't Japanese unless it's some proper noun I've never seen.

The last one looks like it was a poorly done 心, but even in Chinese 功康心 doesn't mean anything read from either side.

I think it's going to turn out that OP got this off an American movie poster like American Ninja or something else that will not actually have any legitimate Asian language written on it. Just a bunch of hanzi smatter.
