(Japanese) My House Description? - 08-10-2010, 08:23 AM

I need to describe my house in Japanese and only have 50-100 じ to go, but I have run out of ideas!

What are some things I can say in this (that maybe I could repeat a little :P)

E.G
In front of my house I have a _______________.
(I have already used this)

Any ideas? Anything that might spice it up a little?

What about describing inside of your house such as how many rooms it has. How big your house is, your garden. What you like about it, what you don't like.

I have already described the interior of the house, its size and the garden.

I could use "what I like" and "what I don't like" that might fill the gap.
Anybody else have any suggestions?

I have already incorporated who lives with me, although I didn't put that I have a pet..

(ぺと は いぬ です? Is that right?)

To say you have a dog, you can say:
犬を飼っています

犬 (いぬ) - Dog

飼っています (かっています) - て form of 飼う
Japanese to English dictionaries define it as:
to keep
to raise
to feed

Edit:
As a final note, you wrote "Pet" as ぺと.
The actual way to write it is in Katakana as ペット

Aah damn it! Even I (with my poor Japanese) should have known to write ペット, I feel ultra-fail now!

Oh well, thank you very much!

NoteI ended up explaining how my house is set out, e.g the bathroom is next to the kitchen, etc.)
