Anyone using the book 「とびら」？

私の日本語のクラスには、あたらしい日本語の本をかい ました。　この本のほうが、前のよりとてもむずかしそ うです。
(For my Japanese class I bought a new Japanese book. This book seems a lot more difficult than my previous one.)

Anyways, I'm kind of nervous for class. My kanji vocabulary is pretty bad, and this book uses a LOT of kanji. There is pretty much no English as well. I can read it... but it takes a while because I have to keep flipping back to the vocab section and looking up kanji I do not know.

This is good though, because it pushes me to learn more, but I dont want to be the slowest person in class either. Does anyone have experience with this book? Is it good? Tips on using it?

The class is Advanced Japanese Grammar (5th semester class I think), its been a while since my last Japanese class, so im trying to brush up and study like crazy before it starts. I wish there was such a thing as げんき！III >,<
