hi there

which minna no nihongo should i study ? i am a newbie which know alphabet and some phrases??

is minna no nihongo best book ?

Just for your own edification, it's a "syllabary," not an "alphabet."

If all you know is the hiragana, you should work with Minna no Nihongo 1. it's the one with the pink cover. You should also buy the grammar book.

However, if you're working alone, with no teacher, you may want to consider another book, as Minna no Nihongo isn't easy to work with by yourself.

Yes, and this is the accompanying grammar book: Amazon.com: Minna no Nihongo Honyaku: English Translation and Grammatical Notes (9784883191079): Books

There's also a workbook for book 1, but it's not really necessary.
