English to Japanese translation help!!!
 

Hello Everyone.

Could someone please help me translate this into Japanese please. To give you the context, a friend of mine in the USA I spoke with on the phone last week is concerned about my mental health and well-being here in Japan. I am married to a Japanese woman with two kids, but have had difficulty finding work and good health care for my mental illness here in rural Japan. My friend said to me:

"Yeah, well maybe it is true that you are fulfilling your duties as a father and husband by staying where you are and not moving away to look for work, but who is looking out for Paul? Who is there to speak up for Paul. I agree with you that there are many other people in Japan and the world worse off than you and you are commended for being grateful; BUT, we're not talking about them! We're talking about you. Who is looking out for your mental health?"

「ああ、君が今の場所にとどまり、仕事を求めて引っ越 したりしないことで、父親として、また夫としての義務 を尽くしているのは事実だろう。だが、ポールを見守る のは誰なんだ？ポールに意見する人間は誰かいるのか。 たしかに、日本には他にもたくさんの人がいて、君より 苦しい生活も存在するのだから、君はその点感謝すべき だろう。しかし、僕らはそうした人々の話をしているん じゃない！今は君の話だ。誰が君のメンタルヘルスを気 にかけてくれてるというんだ？」

This is a little free translation, but I promise it makes sense. I hope it helps you.

「感謝すべき」とは言っていません。当人が既に感謝し ている事を、話し手が称賛しているのです。
