Translation Buddha sentence - 09-06-2010, 02:42 PM

Hello,

I have 2 translations for the sentence "There is no way to Hapiness, being happy is the way"

Translation 1:
幸 せへの道 などない。幸 せが道 なのだ。

Translation 2:
幸福 とは旅 することだ、目的地 ではない。

Would somebody be so kind to check which one of those is correct.
Or if both are not right pls give me the right translation.

Thanks a lot
Regards
Evelin

This is such an intriguing question.

As a direct translation, only #1 is correct.

However, #2, while not being a direct translation, sounds very nice and deep.
