Kanji! Need a little help peeps

Firstly Hi! Hope ur all well. My name is Shan and im from the United Kingdom.

Ok basically I have been wanting to get a tattoo with the use of kanji symbols. But ive read that it is very easy to get the wrong meaning unless you have someone very familiar with the language at hand to help.

So here is what I needed help with. I needed the correct kanji for the english phrase "love shy"

I found 2 kanji images online and have edited to make them as one. Does this read as "love shy"? please let me know. Thanks friends

First of all, I don't know what "love shy" means, and I'm a native English speaker. Second of all, what you posted in no way means "love shy." More like "longing for internal energy."

I have a policy of not giving kanji tattoo help, but I wanted to avert this total disaster.

well its pretty simple really. love-shy means to shy away from love/commitment.

split the top character from the bottom 2. The first one doesnt mean love??
I was never sure about the other bit for shy as it was from a pretty vague google image. Im looking for the kangi symbol for love and the kanji symbol for shyness so i can combine the 2 to make a tattoo.

Do you really want to print "carrier of shame" on your skin forever.

奥手
would be better.

A lot of those words for shyness on that site carry a nuance of shame/humiliation....

My mistake. I'm sorry. I was thinking 羞 looked like a simplified Chinese character because of the lower right part.
