I'm not Japanese and I suck at reading calligraphy but is it
今期 ?

Meaning "The present term" though that's probably not right. Just a guess ;)

一期一会 (いちごいちえ)

This is like many Japanese' favorite saying that originally comes from tea ceremony. It means that if you meet someone, treat him in the best manners that you can because it might be your last chance to serve him.

On a high-quality paperboard, would you handwrite with ink and brush "This Semester" or "This Quarter" to give or sell it to someone? :):vsign:

一期 = one lifetime
一会 = one encounter

It's 会, not 今.
