Definition Question
 

I have a question as relating to the Bushido code. Loyalty one of the tenants, is most cited as 忠義 (chuugi). I found a few sites that called it 忠実 (chuujitsu), like on here

Both I believe mean loyalty, but in different contexts....but which one is more correct in the Bushido context in your opinion?

「忠実」 has too broad a range of meanings. It can be used to describe so many kinds of relationships, such as between friends, colleagues, company vs. employee, and even a pet dog vs. its owner. Using a general word like this would not make your writing look great. You would need a word with a narrower range of meanings that serves a more specific purpose. 「忠義」 will give you just that when it comes to Bushidou as it describes a more serious and committed type of 「忠実」.
