please translate this for me (london is recovering from riot)

Hi! It's my first post! I hope everyone is well!

I was wondering whether anyone could kindly translate for me the sentence below to casual or informal Japanese?

" London is recovering from the riot though the economy is quite bad "

Many thanks in advance!

I translate this sentence as below.

ロンドンは暴動から回復してきているが、景気はまだ悪 い。

How does that sound?
