Yeah, it took me until that one break about 30 seconds in to tell for sure it was Korean, too. Before that, it sounded like 90% of hip-hop in any language when I hear it for the first time: unintelligible.

Even American hip-hop sometimes takes a couple listens before I pick up on anything significant.

My brain seems to get the feeling with Korean media that it is like Korean with the odd Japanese word thrown in, because say if I hear something for example ending in what sounds like 'inai' I start to think I heard a Japanese word

It was Malaysia, in South East Asia
