Quick Japanese Help, :)

Okay, so I'm watching an anime, and I come across this word:
Soyuba (Or at least that's what I make of it...)

Weird question, but by the information given, does anyone know what it means?

Thanks, :vsign:

I think it's 'sou ieba'(そういえば・そう言えば)='by the way'

Hi, dear friends,
Excuse me, I have another trouble: would you be so kind to explain me, what does it means the suffix "~cha" (or: "~tya"), in the end of some japanese verbs (for example: ikanakucha, shinakucha,- and so on)?

THANKS!!!!

ちゃ is a contraction of ては in the same way "n't" is a contraction in English of "not."

たべてはいけない becomes たべちゃいけない
Like
"does not" becomes "doesn't"

Relevant side note: では becomes じゃ in the same instances.

のんではいけない becomes のんじゃいけない

Or, the most famous (probably),
ではない becomes じゃない

Yes, as Kyle-sensei wrote, 「ちゃ」cha=「ては」tewa.

So, いかなくちゃikanaku-cha=いかなくてはikanaku-tewa, and しなくちゃshinaku-cha=しなくてはshinaku-tewa.

And in daily conversations, we often say いかなくちゃ(ikanaku-cha) to mean いかなくちゃいけない(ikanakuchaikenai= have to go/must go), しなくちゃ(shinaku-cha) to mean しなくちゃいけない(shi-naku-cha ikenai=have to do~, must do~), with いけないikenai(orならないnaranai)left out.
