Well, watching some more anime, and this came up:

Too much Kanji for me!

Read the furigana above each kanji character!

FIRST LINE:
The first line looks like:かげのけんぺいだんせ いえい
I've tried using it in Kanji, so: 影の憲兵団の精鋭 (Wow, I did it!)
Does it roughly mean: "They're the elite squad formed by the Shadow Lord."?
Yeah, I added a few words, but that was to make the sentence make sense in English.
SECOND LINE:
I already kind of get this line.
Does it mean: "They're the "Hounds of Hell""?

2nd line says 地獄の猟犬と恐れられる（じごくのりょうけんとおそれ られる）。

地獄の猟犬＝the hounds of hell,
と＝として。=as~.
恐れられる＝the passive form of 恐れる
(恐れる・おそれる=怖がる・こわがる=be frightened, be scared)

So I think you're very close. (^_^)
